the evolution of tape

Is it the scrapbooking craze or are designers just starting to hit on some really obvious ideas? (that scrapbooking bit is a joke) But seriously, why has no one thought of this before? I came across these decorative lace tapes a few months ago on coolhunting and then spotted the frame tape in the November issue of dwell magazine. I totally foresee using this one way too much in my apartment. You can get it on the website of Marti Guixe.
