On this past Friday, one of our accessories designers showed off her Halloween costume for our viewing pleasure, and turned briefly into a robot!
The robot waited for a turn at the color copier, like so many of us do…
It also needed to approve some fabric swatches.
Home-made costumes are the best!

An ingenious costume!

I talked to our robot girl, Sarah, and asked her how she made the costume!
She said she just got two cardboard boxes – one big enough to fit herself into, and another smaller one to put on her head. Then she took some aluminum foil and covered them both, and made holes in the appropriate places. For the rest, like buttons and such, she searched on Google image search for “robot costume” and got lots of ideas from other people’s costumes! You can go hog wild and put whatever extras on that you like!
