Caravan of Curiosities

a few shots of the Phillies Victory Parade

Today Philadelphia is having a huge party to celebrate the Phillies winning the World Series, which started earlier today with an extremely long parade beginning at the square and going south down Broad Street to the stadiums. I was lucky enough to have the chance to watch the parade, and the amount of people who participated was absolutely astounding. As the parade passed people, they would just join in, and it became a huge mass of people walking to the stadiums. It was one of the coolest things I've seen!

This went on for hours. Just amazing! It's a day for parades!

  • Lucky girl! You live on the parade route! I watched from the sidewalk at Broad and Oregon and was envious of all the people who could hang out of their own windows!

  • I was there! It was AWESOME!
