My favorite silhouette is flowy, waist length off blouse over extremely tight and high cheap monday jeans (ripped at the knees) and tall vintage flat riding boots. Blouse can either be tucked in or not.

I love the look of a big jacket, slinky dress and funky, slouchy boots. It's tough and feminine at the same time! The boots add width to the bottom of the leg, but the legs are still visible and feminine, and the big jacket both keeps you warm and casual. Half the girls at my university are wearing this style. It's great for the transition from winter to spring!

My favorite silhouette is the baggy tops with skinny bottoms. I think it's super flattering and I feel taller when I'm wearing outfits in that silhouette.

I recently made a pair of gray high waisted/ wide leg pants. I now love to wear them with a satiny peasant blouse tucked in, flats, and a large antiqued bangle. I just got back from flying to FL and got so many complements! Love it!

:-) my fav silos these days are wide boots with skinny jeans tucked into them, along with a long shirt/tunic with an embellished belt!
lately i'm loving lots of solid colors and then all of a sudden a BURST of brightness, either in an accessory or small detail on the garment!

My favorite silhoutte would have to be a cute flowy blouse top that drapes down at the arms and hugs the waist. Along with this, a pair of great denim bellbottoms color-coordinated with the top. This is a cute outfit that's easy, comfortable, and looks gorgeous on all body types. I

This is actually the very first time I came across the Free People website, especially this BLOG as I have chosen to write a report on this company for a school project. I definitely love all your clothing!
As for your newly posted blog question regarding silhouettes... my personal fave would be big tops with skinny pants. This is a great style because of its versatility - with tights, leggings, leg warmers, shorts, etc... So then I guess you can say I am also a fan of tunics worn as dresses. My ultimate weakness is vintage tops..!! And I am sure you know that every vintage top fits differently.. and sometimes you come across one piece that is to DIE FOR that you will NEVER find anywhere else! but its waaaayyy to BIG!... So what I do is... I still buy it to accommodate my shopping addiction! haha Just slap on a belt and you're good to go!

My favorite silhouette right now is not really influenced by current trends, but rather my own love for vintage looks. :) I'm definitely digging fitted tops (usually tanks) with cinched waists (I have a huge collection of belts! lol!) and soft, full skirts (a la late 1940s/50s). So basically a "casual hourglass" as I like to call it! :)

I think that my favorite silhouette of today is high-waisted anything, whether it be a jersey skirt or jean shorts. The silhouette is sexy in a different way then a tube top and a mini skirt. It's sleek and classy but unique as well! If you pair something high-waisted with an embellished tank and gladiator sandals you really can't go wrong....

For this moment I'm crazy about mini dresses, or even tunics or long sweaters, I use it with leggins or opaque tights , and on my foots, my preferred ugg boots!! That's a nice way to be warm and stylish!

I was afraid of the skinny jean until I found the right pair. I thought I would look like a sausage but they help make me longer and leaner. My preferred and most comfortable silhouette is larger flowy top with a cozy pair of skinnies.

My go-to lately has been putting my summery dresses to work in the cold by wearing short dresses over skinny jeans with a tight hoodie and my chunky engineer boots! It brings summery color into usually dark winter color schemes, and the loose dress with hoodie over it looks like a skirt! Don't bed head and my favorite chunky necklaces :)

As for silhouettes lately... the holiday nesting (and cookie-consuming) season now over, I'm wanting to hide the tummy area, so... I'm a big fan of blousy/flowy/tunic-y tops over tighter-knit pants (whether jeans, leggings, tights, etc.). And, I live in Boston, so... boots are a must. :)

I am all about tank tops tucked into waist-high skits (short, hits above mid thigh). Pair it with a cardigan, a funky hair clip and a pair of flats and you have some vintage fun. Throw in a pair of tights to crank up the funk and rock that monday through sunday. if it's hand made, vintage or red, +4 style points!

As a college student, I'm always in a rush to get ready for my morning class! The basics of my look for this time of year are skinny jeans, boots, and a tank. Then, I just pick out a cute and embellished Free People top from my closet, grab my book bag, and I'm ready to go. I especially love my FP shirts with pretty backs, which add an unexpected, artsy twist to an already pretty article of clothing.

i'm crazy about leggings worn with big t's. I love how comfortable big t-shirts are and how relaxed they look. And as for leggings... love of my life! I live in them. You can even dress this look up by wearing some metallic or high shine leggings and opting for an amazing pair of heels instead of my usual fringe boots or moccasins. This is such an easy to wear silhouette, and is so easy to customize to fit everyone's own personal style!

I am not one to follow fashion trends, but cannot get enough of the bohemian, folkloric, princess look, and love the long embellished tunics and romantic dresses, over flowy gauchos (can't let them go and they're still worn often here on the west coast), with funky boots (free people or uggs), mocs, woolenstocks, and yummy warm leg warmers. The more tribal fabrics and crazy embroidery, the better!

Hi there Free People! Let me preface this comment by saying the last catalog was spectacular. I adore the bohemian mixed with down south flair!

I've always enjoyed the look of fitted on the top, looser and comfy on the bottom, whether it is with jeans and a tee or a tank top and skirt. Lately for the winter months, I've really been enjoying the look of a navy, sailor-type coat that's fitted around the chest with gold nautical buttons and flares out from the waist with an elegant bell shape. Looks best with form-fitting pants and a cute pair of boots, or stockinged legs and brown vintage mary janes!

I just recently discovered Free People after visiting NYC and stopping in to the boutique store on 5th Ave. I totally love the clothing! It is incredibly comfortable and unique. Right now, I'm loving the tops with the different patterns and have the ties at the bottom. The ties at the bottom definitely give the tops some style and hipness too!

Floral Maxi dresses are amazing! The long silohutte compliments the body and can be worn for any occasion. I personally love the bright floral Maxies paired with my favorite haviannas and belt!! It's always fun to have a vibrant boho chic look in your wardrobe!

There definitely have to be boots, first of all, either chunky or knee high and tight. Then a flowy, probably A-line dress, most likely knee to above knee length. And also some tights if it's cold outside.
Also love a tight mini skirt with a loose top.

I love the high top dresses and skirts, theyre perfect to pull over a plain shirt to create a really classy look. I like to wear them with black leggings when its cold and some nice shoes. With a classy look like that, you really cant go wrong!

I like the outline of a woman's body to be like a dream. You know what's there it's just a bit hazy. I think you can make this happen with a spaghetti strap or two worn with tights underneath a sheer and very graphic tunic or slip-dress!

i'm a big fan of leggings with any sort of flat boot (slouchy, uggs) and baggy shirts or sweaters. i'm not so tough in the cold, though, so i've been leaning more towards skinny jeans and boots with larger tops and sometimes vests layered overtop. the extra little layer makes me think i'm warmer than i am. :-)

i'll do 2.
1. i love flower patterned flowy short dresses paired with thick patterned scarves, a thick dark coat, tight leggings or skinny jeans, and beat up brown leather boots. add some braids to your hair and you are all set!
2. i love high waisted wide leg light washed vintage jeans with a tight striped tshirt, red or blue, some chunky heels and a velvet blazer and loose scarf. funky! let your hair hang long and go wavy!

Right now, my favorite silhouette is essentially tulip-shaped. (Maybe that's because I can't wait for Spring.) I have a bulb-shaped coat with a pretty extreme collar that juts out high enough to hit me in the chin. Even the sleeves are tapered to mimic the tulip contour. To complete my human flower, I tuck very skinny jeans into platform boots to make my legs look like the long stem. Maybe I'm insane.

With the cold frosty weather I've been a huge fan of the fitted blue jeans with my Earth boots, which keep my feet warm and toasty in the snow. My Free People scraf keeps my neck warm from chilly winds! Hats/fingerless gloves add to the warmth. All thats missing is the hot chocolate!

I really enjoy wearing vests (of course free people), and skirts w/ warm tights (it's rather cold in Minnesota right now)- I tend to wear skirts on the longer side because I am rather tall (6'1). I love outfits made of seperates that don't look like that can go together, but when introduced, look absolutely lovely in a way I didn't expect!

Hey, okay currently i am addicted to tight bootcut jeans with boots. I love wearing loose tops with great funky prints. I'm also really liking the crocheting details on tops lately. Hm, currently, I'm probably into baggy bottoms with tight tops or flowy skirts with a tight top - it reminds me of spring and I'm always mentally in the season ahead of me.

The silhoutte I love to wear lately is a colorful embroidered baggy tunic over a simple colored long sleeve and a pair of skinnys with a boot. I also am into the baggy pants (so comfy!) and tight shirt look. And of course scarfs, I love scarfs!!
The hair clips are absolutly adorable! Gotta love free people!

I like: Fitted tops with circle skirts (preferably short ones) and clunky boots.
Also a fan of tunics worn as dresses with leggings or skinny jeans.

Right now, i am a fan of dark blue skinny jeans, with a solid basic top, with a bright color cardigan, and some boots! oh and a slouchy bag.

hmm i like a flow-y dress, especially if it's bare in the back. over a tank with gladiator sandals for warm weather, or with a turtleneck and boots for winter :)

Currently I enjoy fitted jeans or pants with elbow length oversize sweaters or pull overs. It is not super cold down here in GA so 3/4 length sleeves is a must have, or puffy vests too!

Baggy bottoms with a tighter top feels easier to move around and play in, but lately I've been boasting a bigger blouse with skinnier slacks. They go great with my comfy converse, never leave home without them!
P.S. I have a hang nail, and my hair won't stay out of my face. Do you happen to have something I can use for that?

one look i plan to try that i love is a solid colored skirt that hits a little above the knee, not too tight but not flowy, paired with a cute print pullover hoodie and some casual tennis shoes and the hair in a messy bun. it's cute, casual and fun!

Free People is my creative inspiration, one of the looks that I am loving is the casual styled pencil skirt with a tucked in, bloused out light weight top, it's classy yet if worn with artsy flats it's instantly casual...Peace.

The skinny jeans with a baggy top rock! You can hide all those midriff bulges and at the same time look sleak and cutting-edge! I think contrasting a long top with the figure hugging jeans is VERY Free People!!!!

My favorite silhouette is tight top such as a tank or tee and baggie cropped pants. I just picture my self wearing a comfy cotton t-shirt or ribbed tank with a pair of cuffed pants to the beach this spring and summer.

My personal favorite look is with a loose fitting top that is long and paired with a nice skinny belt, tight jeans or leggings and a little heel. This silhouette I think looks amazing on everyone! It is sleek and stylish.

in the winter, i like fitted jeans (not quite skinny) w/ looser tops (shirts, cardigans/sweaters, etc). during summer, i like the opposite.

It may not be the edgy-ist silhouette or the most modern but I love love love the corseted/tight top with the huge skirts - ala the Alexander McQueen feather dresses. Lots of texture too of course, and shawls for informality.

I am a big fan of sleeveless high neck or sleeveless rounded neck oriental inspired tops belted high paired with a pencil skirt and a great peep toe or ankle boots. It's a very sophisticated and professional silhouette but I love to funk with it up with bold colors or bright funky patterns.

I love big baggy tops with flappy arms with a little belt around the waist. Tight pants are a must so it's not too frumpy, and a little ripage in the pants adds a cute touch!

The tunic top layered with a tank, leggings, short boots and a cool belt to finish it off! A long locket necklace would be a great addtion to this look.
