faucet + vase

Believe it or not, this vase is also a working faucet! It was designed by David Vercelli for the Italian bathroom company Hego Waterdesign. I love the look and the thought behind this faucet, but I have to agree with Apartment Therapy when they say that they aren't sure they'd be too keen to drink from it. Still, what a neat design!

Hmm.... I would love to have one of these in my house! Who knows, maybe the flowers are fake??

Very cool! but um... yeah stagnant water could make a household insect to think it had reproductive hope in that environment. I'm sure there's a way to better that design while keeping the concept though. :-)

I have been to hotels (Kelowna, B.C.) with similar faucets & I believe the design collides with the actual reality of, 1) dust; 2) non-appealing discoloration of the accessible water; and lastly 3) it leaks on the bottom because of the poor overall quality.
I hate to be the Debby downer of you post, but it looks fabulous in your photos!

wow! this is the most amazing faucet I have ever seen! Just today I was at a friend's house and she has one that looks like an old fashion well pump. A bit similar but this is very cool!

I love this, and how smart it is!
Except orchids would mosdef die this way with just straight water, but other freshcut flowers would be so cool.
