My goodness. This is a fantastic video.
So many images and favorites!
But I’d have to say my favorite page/part is right about 2:22
Where she’s pulling him into the boat. The close up shot was just unexpected and it just grabs you. Plus she’s adorable peeking through the clouds, it’s almost as if she’s responsible for them destined to find each other. Hahaha…
I also love the end with the 3:30 shot. With the rising and setting sun bobbing her head and kindly singing along. How lovely.
My favorite type of music consists of this type of genre. I absolutely admire these women artists/songwriters, such as she, who have so much talent, passion and have successfully expressed their stories from their hearts to ours through song. My goodness. This is a fantastic video.

I love all types of music! Anything from Sinatra to Biggie!

Stephanie -March 4, 2009, 2:27PM

I love jazz because it allows for so much freedom and creativity as well as spontaneity.

Amanda Geist -March 4, 2009, 2:30PM

I don’t think I have just any one type of favorite music. Music goes with my mood. It all depends if it’s a breezy day and I want something to sway to like The Beatles, or if I’m restless, I go looking for something new, like the Playmix Music podcast, or if I just want to dance, then I play some Lady GaGa. I think if I had to pick one thing to listen to over and over it would be Frank Sinatra. He has a song for every occasion, driving, the blissfulness of Spring love, bubble baths, and so much more. I feel that choosing a favorite type of music is like choosing a favorite accessory. It’s all about your mood and where you are in life.

Sarah Pease -March 4, 2009, 2:34PM

I like the pop-up scarf and I love all music

If I had to pick one type of music to be my favorite, I don’t think I could. I have emergency dance parties (EDPs) with my friends all the time and we just take whatever groovy dancy music we have and play it and dance the night away. I think that’s the best way to listen to music: to just enjoy life by yourself or with your friends.

Chrissy -March 4, 2009, 2:56PM

My favorite genre of music would have to be Indie. It’s so raw and so real, and very versatile, so it can be listened to practically anywhere! Whether it be on the beach while soakin’ up some sun, or during one of those unforgettable night drives, I always feel some sort of connection to the melodic Indie songs that I listen to… whether it be in the lyrics or in the instrumentals. Each song tends to capture a memory of mine, so replaying some of my favorite Indie songs always brings about the best feelings within me. “Music” is definitely a synonym of “Magic.” :)

(I also love Damien – wish he’d come out with something new…) So awesome – glad her solo album made its way. Go Lisa!

kaitlin collins -March 4, 2009, 9:56PM

I absolutely loved the unique book and song in this video.. the details are absolutely incredible! I happened to like the page where Lisa revolved the sun around the island. She took so much time to do that page so i got a chance to observe it more in depth. I also liked the fact that she started to sing along to her song during this page.. it made me feel like she was actually singing to me!

Mary Harrison -March 4, 2009, 10:15PM

I love the pages with extra detail like an extra popup or moveable pieces! My favorite is when the cloud folds over and becomes a HONK from the boat! and the mans face makes me think Awww. This video reminds me of being a kid at story time excited to see what comes next. Girl you rule!

Candice -March 4, 2009, 10:59PM

I love things I can sing along with. The Dixie Chicks are my favorite band.

Tola -March 4, 2009, 11:02PM

I absolutely adore older genres of music, I’m obsessed with music from the 80′s and a little bit of the 60′s and 70′s (like Thurston Harris). Michael Jackson and Madonna still make me wanna get into the groove =P Apart from that I love rock, and alternative. But my favorite is music that brings back memories, no matter what kind.

i’m a singer myself.. and i open my ears to any kind of music. music with passion, feeling, meaning. that’s what i love to sing and listen to. i sing jazz mainly, but also folk, reggae, soul, and classical. some of my favorite artists are Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Feist, Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, John Mayer, Radiohead, New York Voices, Sarah Vaughn, Coldplay, Sublime, and Judy Garland (my idol).
