From the same guy who created the awesome crayon rings, Timothy Liles now brings us these sweet necklaces with chalk pendants! Yet another piece of pretty and colorful jewelry that I would distract myself with constantly if given the chance! Hee hee!

I wish all stop signs looked like this! Mark Jenkins of Washington D.C. made this one.

This is the LightScraper, by Electronic Miracles. I can’t really describe how it works exactly, but it’s awesome! Check out the video below!

walk don’t run
It’s so muggy in Philadelphia today! It is starting to feel very summery outside and for some reason I just have this great song, Walk Don’t Run, by The Ventures stuck in my head! I came across this video of them performing the song live in 1960 – I’m pumped! You don’t always find clips like these! It’s a little blurry at times but the close ups of their faces while performing are so cute! They look nervous!
Anyway, great song, enjoy!
a ring? a bracelet? not quite
I feel like this piece by Delfina Delettrez Fendi, of Fendi, takes the two-finger ring craze and goes a step further. Isn’t it wild?! It’s so loud, but I don’t dislike it! I’d never have an occasion to wear something like that, but it looks cool on the model’s hand. What do you guys think? Interesting, no?
WTF Tee Giveaway – Result!
Thank you all so much for participating in the giveaway! It was so much fun to read about all your favorite clothes! Each piece is so unique – I love how special a piece of clothing can be, and you guys had such great items and great stories to go with them!
My favorite clothes are actually two different tee-shirts that were my dad’s, before I swiped them! One is a vintage Eric Clapton world tour 1979 tee, which of course rules! The other is this great old Detroit Tigers tee, which is really beat up but it has the old logo of the tiger’s head. I can picture my dad rocking them not so long ago!
SO! On to the winner, chosen at random!
Congratulations to Giuliana!
From around 3rd grade to at least 6th, my favorite item of clothing was a pair of navy blue L. L. Bean cargo pants that zipped off into shorts… I wore them all the time. I kind of wish I still had a pair.
I remember that type of short! So fun and convenient!
If you did not win this time around, don’t lose hope! We have more giveaways coming up!
Stay tuned!
one week of arctic summer…
This is just a simple time-lapse video clip – one week of the sun rising and (not) setting during summer in the arctic. It’s so interesting and amazing to me- watching the sun going up and down and up and down! Maybe someday I’ll get to see the midnight sun for myself!
moxy crochet
These blankets from Moxy Crochet are just so amazing and intricate! I think part of the appeal for me is the color combinations – too pretty!

We The Free TEE – Giveaway!
Want to win the super-cute We The Free tee shown above? We want to give it away!
All you have to do for a chance to win is leave a comment on this post, answering the following question:
What is your absolute favorite item of clothing that you own or have owned?
Tomorrow at about this time, we will choose one comment at random, and if your comment is the one picked, you win the shirt!
Make sure to leave your email address with your comment, so that we can contact you if you win!
The shirt is a size small, but these shirts run just a touch big and usually fit a size medium quite well. (In fact, I’m a large and I generally can wear WTF smalls pretty comfortably, though the fit is tighter…)
Good luck everyone! I’m looking forward to reading about your favorite pieces of clothing!
FP convertible tops – how-to!
Our May catalog drops tomorrow, and we are so excited! The pieces in it are really fabulous, especially our new Riding Hood Convertible Tee and our Convertible Cape! We are extra excited for these two pieces because they can both be styled in a number of different ways! They’re like 4 shirts in one!
We’ve made a little video to show off the different ways to wear these two items, and how to create the looks! Check it out!
textured leather
I’ve been really into wall coverings that are more textured lately, so of course I love these sweet leather panels by Genevieve Bennett. Aren’t they pretty? I would feel tempted to rub my hands over it all the time if I got one. More on Genevieve’s site.

This video is just absolutely amazing. I can’t describe it any other way!

Amazing!
