Aren’t these embroideries pretty? I really really like them! I feel like I’ve never seen any needlework like that before! I would love to have a shirt or a dress with any of the above designs on it! They were all created by the talented Renilde Depeuter. Sweet!

Hey FP! I´m a frequent reader of your blog and I really like FP clothes! Too bad I can´t buy then in Estonia.
Anyway, I really like the ethnic touch in your pieces and I wanted to tell you about Estonian national costumes, because they are really beautiful and colourful! Maybe you get some inspiration from them too.
Here are some links to some great Estonian designers´ sites who have used our traditional patterns:
http://www.lviira.com/index.php?id=38
and also if you google a guy called Aldo Jarvsoo you can find some pics about his national costumes inspired works…
And the greatest display of our national costumes is coming this weekend, when we have our huge song festival with tens of thousands of singers and spectators! Here´s a clip from the last one, two years ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8as6Q9pYmI (and a couple of years ago there was also an american documentary made, called “The Singing Revolution”, if somebody is interested).
Wish you all the best and greeting from Estonia where we are preparing our costumes for the festival once again :)!
