canada here we come!

very exciting news! we just opened a new free people in toronto’s hudson bay flagship store – the first fp in canada!

free people officially launched its 1,000 sq. ft. hardshop on the much talked about contemporary floor, which houses brands such as opening ceremony, McQ, LnA, halston heritage, tucker, catherine malandrino, vena cava and doo ri.

reflective of our creative roots, this shop is truly one-of-a-kind.  it is a beautiful blend of modern and vintage, mixing the earthiness of our teak tables and cane globe lanterns, with linear designed wood and metal racks.  our fabulous team of artists worked their magic, painting columns and back walls with gorgeous green flora and fauna, creating that special free people experience that keeps our girl coming back for more!

canada is big country, so stay tuned for more exciting free people launches where hockey may be golden, but sparkles and crochet will always be the way to a girl’s heart.

  4. Fp in toronto!? That’s awesome! I go there once in a while… but plz come to Alberta too… us albertans desperately need some fp.

  5. PLEASE come to MONTREAL… Free People WILL be a hit as Montreal has a very European-urban-boho flare!!

  6. I totally agree, FP will do AMAZING in Montreal. It fits our city’s style and appreciation for high quality clothing. I know I will apply the second you guys announce your arrival! Don’t keep us waiting!
    MTL <3 FP

  7. There is a Free People department in The Bay at Bloor & Yonge. If this is the same kind of thing, they don’t have nearly as much stuff as is on their website. Will check it out though……

  8. Thank you thank you thank you! This is amazing, you should defiantly come to west Edmonton mall in Edmonton next! It is the biggest mall in north
America after all :) love free people!

  9. There is the FP line on St.Catherine’s street at The Bay in Downtown Montreal since over a year ago, which nobody seems to talk about for some reason, even though Montreal is one of the world’s most fashionable cities! I now live in SW Missouri, where there is no FP stores (or even Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie stores) so I really appreciate visiting The Bay when I fly home :)
