happy earth day!

to celebrate earth day i wanted to post some nature photography by anna verlet. her photos capture the mysticism and magical aura of nature in a way that draws you into the landscapes…the fog in the forest is tangible and the reflection of the sun dancing across the lake glows with warmth.  get outside today and appreciate the magic and wonder that is planet earth!

today at love park in philadelphia, the mural arts program will unveil ten new mural-wrapped recycling trucks for “design in motion – part 2.”  this follows the ten mural-wrapped trucks that debuted on earth day last year – i’ve seen a couple of them around the city and they’re really impressive!

if you’re in los angeles, celebrate earth day tonight at space 15 twenty, where they’re holding a special screening of the documentary no impact man, about one man’s attempts to reduce his carbon footprint.
