the giant whole foods on 5th and lamar isn’t the original whole foods. the original (which is now Cheapo Discs) was built in 1980 on lamar and 11th. The store flooded in 1991, and in the late 90’s they built another location which is now book people, rei, and anthropologie. in 2005, the giant whole foods on 5th and lamar was built, which is the biggest whole foods in the world.
