what’s goin’ on in here?
it’s our assistant stylist dying book pages with tea! how cool is that? it’s so easy to do- just fill up a plastic container like this with water, drop in some tea bags, and then rip out pages from a book and soak them in it! the result are really cool antique-looking pages that you can use for pretty much whatever you want- you could cover an entire wall with them, or they’d look really cool as backing for a photo album or scrap book!
i can’t tell you what we’re doing with them, but you’ll find out soon enough…

books …… BACK TO SCHOOL
If you have an oven, you can brush them with coffee, throw them on a cookie sheet and “bake” them at about 200 degrees until they dry. That makes cool vintage paper, too. But I like this method — no oven!
My mom and I designed one of our bathrooms with old tea-stained farmer’s almanacs. We lined the walls so it looks like wallpaper. A little light bathroom reading.
I do this ALL the time but its better to use coffee! You’ll get a better effect.

this would be cool as a background for a catalogue!!!
How do you get the pages to stick to the wall?!
