“little drifters” is a project organized by booooooom and the vancouver sun, in which they asked people to gather pieces of driftwood, twigs, leaves, berries, dandelions, pine cones, feathers – pretty much anything that can be considered “natural” – and build a little boat using only these materials! they were then asked to take their boat to a body of water and take a picture of it. i LOVE them! such a creative idea and people put together the most beautiful little creations. here are some of my favorites…
the project was largely inspired by the work of lenny, who had this tip that i really liked for some reason:
“masts and sails don’t make them go faster, it just means you can see them for longer as they drift away.”
