what is everyone doing for the 4th of july weekend?
the nateva camping and music festival starts today in oxford, maine with artists including furthur, the flaming lips, she & him, passion pit and grizzly bear – sounds like a great time. and if you’re in philly, the annual free concert on the parkway takes place on sunday night.
we’re out at noon today and i’m heading to the beach!!! can’t wait…i’ll be posting throughout the weekend so don’t worry! :)

I agree with Wilhelmina! Looks like those poor girls in these pictures need to go to a 4th of July picnic and eat a sandwich.
Beautiful scenery n style but these people are far too skinny. This is something one would find on a pro Ana website. I’m a thin and fit fashionista, personal stylist and photographer. I believe healthy is far more important and photogenic than starving model. Please little model darlings you would be so much more beautiful 15 pounds heavier. Holocaust isn’t sexy it’s death.

love your pics! have a lovely weekend! i think your models are beautiful, no matter what size, some girls are naturally skinny, you can’t hate (for lack of a better word) on them just because they aren’t fat.. why is it not a double standard, obviously you would never call someone 5’9″ 140 a whale, but its okay to call a model 20lbs less “Pro ana” and “holocaust”.. that’s just rude, esp to the wonderful girls brave enough to model swimwear for the world to see… period. but on a lighter note enjoy the holiday and keep up the great work, i’m a huge fan :) xo
15 pounds underweight equates to pro-anorexia?? These models are far closer to the appropriate “healthy” weight than most Americans!! Just because they don’t look like the majority of our overweight population doesn’t mean their appearance should be viewed in a negative light. I think the photos and the women in them are beautiful.

In any case…it would be nice to see more of a variety of women on the blog. Different sizes, shapes, races, and styles. I think some of you are missing the point of the critique on the “skinny models” in these comments. Summer is amazing…and it is enjoyed by all girls and womem… Not just skinny, tall, WHITE, women. Give the readers some curves and women of color too!
hi everyone! thank you for your opinions i will keep them in mind. just for the record these are not our models and i posted these pics because i think they’re beautiful and capture the attitude of carefree summer fun.
