for today’s office space i thought i’d head over to building 543, where our cafeteria, coffee shop, gym and some offices are located. since i am in this building at least once a day for my daily cup of coffee i have gotten really used to it but the first time i entered its doors it literally took my breath away. it’s a gorgeous space- but i’ll just let you see for yourself…
the last one is the view out the back window :)
oh and by the way this building is open to the public so if you’re ever down by the navy yard, stop on by!
This is beautiful!
I would love to work here…let me know if you’re ever looking for a textile designer! :-)
Looks awesome. I would love to work there too…………
WOW! I would definitely love comming into work here every day! Beautiful!! ;-)
Wonderful photos Julia! You captured the beauty of the space — nailed it!
That is so amazing and inspiring, I wish I worked there! Also, I relaly like the idea of knotting random pretty fabric strips on the umbrella poles, I might have to do that too…
When did everyone start calling everything a “space?” It’s been a trendy cliche’ for far too long. I can see where you get some of your weird ideas for your bizarre outfits in this “space.”
I keep telling my boyfriend I want to take a day off and go down to the navy yard. He of course does not understand.
Marvellous place to be by the look of it . Wish my studio had a similar place next door !
I’ve been there! my friend showed me around and I got to look at Urban Outfitters mood boards and other cool stuff, its such a great building and the story behind it is very cool too
when school starts in the fall and i’m up in philly i will surely be paying a visit!
