vintage. to me a vintage piece carries a certain weight – it has been around longer than i have, it has a history, and an energy that radiates through it. touch it and you can feel the presence of its previous owner, a tiny rip, scratch or loose thread evidence of their past adventures. a dress that was worn by a high school girl at a 1950s sock hop, a patched up pair of jeans worn at a beat poetry reading, or a blouse worn at a 1960s love in…the possibilities are endless. this special uniqueness is what makes each vintage piece so irreplaceable, so treasured, and so desired.

this, and looking at all the vintage collection was a very nice blast from the past. Sometimes I wish my daughters knew more about this time – they are much,um,tougher. (But I am proud of them)(most of the time)
