holiday hair how-to

Post image for holiday hair how-to

i love martha’s hair in our party lookbook – it’s simple and looks really cute as a relaxed ponytail or pretty little up-do.  our hair and makeup artist demonstrates how to get a couple of variations of this look, complete with some makeup tips!

the products used in the video are:

eye liner: JK Jemma Kidd in 07 rock chic
eye shadow: Chanel quad in smoke
face was simple skin, with a little contour
contour: Nars multiple stick in Cape Verde or
No. 7 powder blush in Honey

thank you very much to safe for letting us use the song “airplane letters” :)

I tried this last night and absolutely LOVED how it turned out. My hair’s short, like shoulder-length, and it was still really cute! My messy chignon wasn’t super visible, because of the length, but I still loved the look. The makeup tips with the eyeliner and shadow overtop looked cute too! I’m doing it for a holiday party tonight, I can’t wait!

I’m so happy you did a tutorial for curly hair! I have super curly hair and there’s never any good ideas (that I can find) on how to style it for special occasions. I usually just put my hair in a braid or something but this is super cute!

Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! The makeup is very beautiful. Just wondering, what actually is “simple skin”? Is it a foundation?

Thanks! Please continue with more tutorials, they’re very helpful :-)
