I’m not crazy about all these long skirts and dresses. They look very matronly. Still all the looks are gorgeous. It was hard for me to decide but I picked 7.
one of our designers celebrated a birthday yesterday and how lovely is this spread some of our fp grils put together for her? fresh fruit, yogurt with honey, oats, cute cookies, cake and flowers…perfect! (raspberries…mmmmmm…my fave).
Yummy! And what an awesome birthday! It looks as though working for FP is an absolute blast!

winter strikes again… a little over a foot fell in the city and i went for a little walk this morning and took some photos before beginning the trek down to the navy yard. i actually love the brief period of time after a large snowfall when everything is blanketed in white and the snow muffles the usual sounds of the city, creating a peaceful lull. people even seem to say hi on the street more often, offering a warm smile of commiseration for others out shoveling or trudging through snow up to their knees.
but don’t get me wrong, i am more than ready for spring! enough of this nonsense :)
Beautiful photos and a beautifully worded discription of the bliss that snow can bring to a city. Makes me miss my days in New York City! …but you can’t beat the California sun… try and stay warm!

My favorite snow is always the first snowfall of the season. Each time after that I like it less and less but only because my car is not at all meant for winter. However, without all this snow, anticipation for spring would not be half as fun!
after jemma posted about our extreme series oversized and boxy tees the other day i went and checked out the shop online and started thinking about how i’d wear some of these items. like she said, i also tend to over-size it when i buy shirts because i like them a little baggier – so these extreme tees are right up my alley! we had a little fun today trying some outfits on, and with the color scheme of the items we picked, the bamboo forest at the end of the hall beckoned to us…

you guys have probably heard of erica domesek of the blog p.s. – i made this… by now – she’s a DIY genius. i love how she can make a project i’d never even think of seem so easy and do-able. for example, this feather headpiece – with spring and festival season creeping up on us it definitely has the wheels in my head turning, thinking of fun headpieces i can make and wear all summer long.
