Taking the boy approach

Post image for Taking the boy approach

I’m addicted to street style sites; I find them ever so inspiring when it comes to putting together
fresh new looks.

Lately I have been seeing a lot of brogues on girls adopting that Annie Hall
sophisticated tomboy vibe. I like this look going into spring but I’m not sure which way I’d
prefer to take it – do I give my feminine outfit that little bit of attitude or do I go for the full blown tomboy
look, teaming it with denim skinny jeans and shirts?! Either way I think it rocks!

How would you guys wear them?

I like all the looks! Also, I went into FP today and was the happiest girl in America. Even happier when I left with a pair of flared jeans to channel my inner 70s and they handed them to me in the most adorable cloth bag with neon pink decor! :)

I LOVE wearing skinny jeans and a top! It’s comfy, cute and always a great go-to. Sometimes when no heels are wanted it’s fun to do the “boy look”!

I love wearing mine with rolled skinny jeans and striped sweaters, too, like this: http://theeditrix.tumblr.com/post/4057736357. Though now that Summer’s coming it’ll be t-shirts and tops.

Don’t really consider it the “boy approach” though, since I mostly wear flat shoes of some sort, ha ha.
