memorial day weekend will always carry with it a sense of freedom and memories of that long weekend when i’d get out early from school and head to the shore with family and friends for beach, barbecues and SUN – the first taste of the languid summer days ahead. it has always been the beach for me, but there are tons of other getaways that would be wonderful this weekend…
camping under the stars…
a lake hidden by trees, preferably with a rope to swing out on…
wherever this is, i want to go there.
a weekend boating excursion would be amazing!
road trip…
…or bike trip!
crash at a friend’s house with a pool :)
and if you can’t go anywhere at all, build yourself a blanket fort :)

Camping with my amazing boyfriend…swimming in the lake, smores by the fire, some drinks under the stars. Boat trip on Sunday, laying out in the sun, and you can’t forget the cookout, Monday by the pool with my besties. Memorial Day Weekend :)

Hopefully (weather permitting) My boyfriend and I will go to his families camp-ground tomorrow after work! Then stay through sunday… Last year we went frog catching and I kicked the guys butts!!! No nets, just my hands and some muddy pant legs! Just love these memories! Then monday my best friend is having a beginning of summer festivus for the restofus! That should be fun! Campfire and live music, good food and people! Yay! I love summer! such inspiring and wonderful photos!Love your blog and check it daily!
