somethin’ filled up
my heart with nothin’,
someone told me not to cry.
but now that I’m older,
my heart’s colder,
and i can see that it’s a lie.
children wake up,
hold your mistake up,
before they turn the summer into dust.
if the children don’t grow up,
our bodies get bigger but our hearts get torn up.
we’re just a million little god’s causin’ rain storms turnin’ every good thing to rust.
i guess we’ll just have to adjust.
with my lighnin’ bolts a glowin’
i can see where I am goin.’

Amazing….my boyfriend and I have gone to every bonnaroo since it started. We missed this year because we just had a baby, but you better believe the three of us will be there next year!
take me back!
This was my second year and my boyfriend’s third and I’ve got to say, it keeps getting better. I’m from Tennessee, and it’s amazing to see such a diverse crowd from all over to enjoy music and art on this beautiful state’s soil. I think I’m turned on permanently to festivals.
So glad you came down to Tennessee for Roo, the most magical place on earth. A little dusty and crowded this year but still an awesome time, hope you had fun! :)
awesome. I love the pics and the lyrics.
best music experience i’ve ever had.
I saw that “All good things are wild and free” graffiti and knew Free People would post it! so lovely
I found this awesome site which gave me a taste of the wonders that is Bonnaroo (aka amazing music). I just hope I can make it to this in the future.
