I love how the “trendy” thing to do these days is to play dress up and pretend to be native americans… its as if everyone thinks were extinct. Completely ignorant.
That comment seems a bit ignorant it’s self. Borrowing from many cultures is just in the nature of fashion. I don’t believe that styles inspired by Native American’s or any other cultural group are meant to offend.
It seems Free People can’t breathe lately without someone getting needlessly offended.
I dont think it has as much to do with “trendy” or “playing dress up”. I am a Native American and I think the traditional adornments are a beautiful way for anybody to express themselves and celebrate the culture of our country. The women of Heyoka Leather actually have Lakota blood in them. You might want to look at it that way instead of posting negative energy.
