Outside Lands 2011: Greetings from San Francisco!

After a long day of traveling I have arrived in San Francisco for Outside Lands 2011! I am staying downtown and I must say when I took the subway from the airport and got off at Powell street, the famous spot where the cable cars turn around, so many memories came rushing back from when I lived here.  I can’t wait to get over to Haight Ashbury and Golden Gate Park!

Tomorrow I will be meeting up with some of our SF-area store girls and we’ll be handing out Free People tote bags and discount fliers so if you’re going to the festival look for us there! You can follow us live on twitter, instagram and facebook – and I’ll be doing a fun little scavenger hunt! I have some Free People gift cards to give away and I’ll drop special little scavenger hunt hints on where to find me – the first person who does gets the gift card!

Stay tuned for lots more to come from Oustide Lands 2011 :)

San Francisco is my favourite city! I used to spend a lot of time out there and I miss it so much! I love Haight street. The atmosphere is so chill and the poeple are fun. Down in Outer Richmond is this great hiking spot called Lands End. I spent a month in San Francisco and I hiked and painted in Lands End almost everyday. It was so peaceful and beautiful and I really found myself there.
