I’ve been moving out of my apartment of two years all throughout this past week. To say the least, the experience has been a little traumatic. I can’t help but feel bogged down by all of the stuff I’ve acquired. Never before have I wanted so badly to just throw away everything I own (except my dog and favorite clothes, of course). In retrospect, I can’t help but think of how good it would have been if I had had a garage sale beforehand. I’ve heard stories of the liberation people feel after selling everything they own. I’m not quite ready to sell everything, but it sure would have been good to go through and get rid of all the things I no longer need or have any attachment to. So do it for me, free yourself of the useless things you own, the things you no longer like, and downsize.  Save yourself the trouble of having to do it when you already have an endless to-do list. Decluttering you space will not only make it easier to do things like move, but it will also give your mind a fresh start. You can use the earnings to buy something else or even give them to charity. You might not always have extra cash to donate, so why not do it now? Whatever you don’t sell – give it away – just get rid of it, and enjoy your new beginning.

When I was young, I used to live in Sydney and Garage Sales are really common there.

I had one big garage sales before I move back to Thailand.
It was a great fun experience, selling in a chil-manner,
and most of all meeting people from the neighbourhood :D

Garage sales are not common here in Thailand though, T___T

I need to de-clutter so bad! I just moved about six months ago and I didn’t realize how much stuff I had! And I even left half of it behind! I’ve given so much to charity. Just think how much you would save if you never bought what you’ve already thrown/given away. It’s crazy.

I’ll take anything you don’t want! I’m on a low budget and don’t have much and you have a lot you want to get rid of so it sounds like a good deal to me!! :)
