I’m all over the turban accessory trend that was so endearing during the 40’s and 70’s. Its now making a huge come back – on the streets, on the runways and in editorials. I cannot get enough of this accessory that’s reminiscent of an Arabian night. The look is now surprisingly wearable given the vast interpretations that are being created.
The turban adds a touch of quirky-ness to your every day look; it can be dressed down with a tee and jeans of worn for a lovely night out with your favorite dress. It’s a cool accessory for a wear now and also to carry into Fall.
Are you into this trend?
lurex turban, striped turban, tadefi embellished turban, lace turban, printed silk turban
I am not sure I like the new styles. They are really different.
I think they are cute! I think that the headband ones are easier to wear day to day but either way they are a cool statement piece! :D

I love turbans! You can also put a brooch on the front of it to give an extra sparkle to your look.
no.
I really like this trend, it seems so unique and I am not a huge fan of hats so this is a great alternative for me. Think I might try a few styles out.

Really like those first two black & white photographs, cool trend!
i like this look, it’s a great accessory to jazz up a plain outfit. I would wear them with a sweater also. Great trend post.
I love this trend so much. I think it is cute, but it is also great for keeping my bangs pushed back a little bit, which is greatly needed on the hot summer days.
Much love,

LOVE TURBANS!! i started wearing them a while ago and a lot of people started making fun of me and disliked it. now look what’s the next big thing!! i own a ton of scarves that have gotten good use out of being a turban.
I love this trend,I’m especially in love with head scarves that you can easily tie around your head, like the ones at http://www.jemimajackman.com. So in LOVE with their prints.
i love this trend too! i especially love the two black and white photos? where are those photos from originally??
Hey Jordan, I found those photos on weheartit.
ahh yes! very cute and classy. i believe this trend first emerged in the 1920s-30s (think greta garbo & hedy lamarr), when there was a fascination with the exoticism and luxuriousness of the east.
oh those turbans you have are amazing I love how they look on the models in the Venice book. Nice post
