Before, you bought a couple pairs of pants that were simple and easy to pair with the broad assortment of tops you had in your closet. Now, it’s all about pairing novelty bottoms with something fun or basic on top. Colors, embellishment, textures, patterns, shapes – ever since the rise of the harem pant our frame of mind has shifted focus. At Free People there’s no exception. We’re loving the fresh new take just as much as the rest of the fashion world.

Coat Drive Kick Off Party at Free People Upper East!
Sunday December 4th 12PM-5PM
Free People Upper East (1319 3rd Ave, NYC) is hosting a Winter Coat Drive in collaboration with New York Cares that will take place this Sunday through Saturday December 10th. During this time, every time a customer donates a coat they will receive 20% off their purchase for that day!
The store is having a KICK OFF PARTY this Sunday Dec. 4th 12-5 pm with a DIY ornament station hosted by yours truly!
There will be holiday inspired food and beverages provided by Aly Debbas from the blog From Graduate to Gourmet for customers to enjoy, and of course don’t forget to bring any old coats you may have to donate to the cause!
In addition to the coat drive, our New York stores are taking toy donations for Toys For Tots!
Customers can bring in a brand new toy to our 5th Ave, Upper East, SoHo or Brooklyn stores and be entered to win one of three $100 gift cards, now through December 21st!

FP Paramus is holding a fashion show event showcasing our newest styles! A stylist will be available to help perfect your holiday look, and there will be a DJ and refreshments to enjoy! Don’t be late, because the first 50 guests will receive special gifts at the door. And, a raffle winner will receive an amazing gift basket that the store has put together, and 2 special runner ups will get little presents!
