I kinda felt like 2011 was a slow year for music, but as I was putting together this playlist I realized that there were actually some really great albums that came out this year. Two of my all time favorite bands, Radiohead and My Morning Jacket, released new albums; some other great bands that released solid albums: Bon Iver, Wilco, Fleet Foxes, The Head and the Heart, The War on Drugs, Iron and Wine, Dawes, Girls, Feist and more… and some new artists emerged that I am really digging: Gary Clark Jr., Alabama Shakes, Washed Out and Youth Lagoon to name a few. Check out Dylan LeBlanc! He is from Alabama too and has a great folk style of music. (not to mention the voice of an angel) He has become really popular in Sweden. much love free peeps!
