Spring Trend: Pastel

Spring fashion is starting to creep onto our homepage and I’m finding it hard not to dive straight into the fresh florals, pastel colours and lighter fabrics. Here in Philly we still have a couple more months until the weather starts to change. In the meantime I’m sourcing the spring 2012 runway trends to see what’s going to be hot fashion when the sun shines it’s warmth on us.

Last week we had florals this week we have pastels! Candy shades seem to be a lovely direction and we love the idea of wearing two shades together and making a full blown impact – I’m sure it will put a smile on anyone’s face if you look as sweet as a candy cane.

We loved what Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Jonathan Saunders and Jaeger showcased, our sweet tooth got big, now… where’s the bag of Cadbury’s mini eggs!

Hold the pastels please! They should be reserved for baby clothes and candy eggs! LOL That said, I don’t consider the peach Louis Vuitton or aqua Jonathan Saunders tops pastel. They are more warm mid tones. Bring on the bright sunny colors…another huge spring 2012 trend! <3
