Month: March 2012
Details: Full Bloom
It’s not Spring just yet but the flowers are slowly creeping their way into our wardrobes, brightening up our latest catalog, our website, and of course our office! We can’t get enough of the floral trend; we love it from head to toe but we also love sprinkling it in little bits – a cute flower hairpiece here, some printed floral shoes there… check out some inspiration from around the office today of how we’re wearing florals… Read More
March Travel Mixtape Contest
Traveling is an eye opening and enlightening experience, and such a journey cannot be complete without an equally amazing soundtrack. One of my favorite travel experiences was on a bus going from France to Amsterdam, and I remember spending the entire trip staring out the window at the sprawling landscape dotted with quaint towns, listening to mixtapes and albums that to this day when I hear, take me back to that bus ride. Makeup Monday: Define your eyebrows
The other night I stayed over my sisters, and as girls do you play around with beauty regimes. I’m the type of girl who hates plucking my eyebrows – it hurts too much… I’d rather let them be. Read More
Style File: Retail Operations Coordinator
What I love about this week’s Style File is how natural and effortless she is. Her style is very laid back, and has a strong infusion of FP girl Lou (funny, Lou happens to be her pup’s name too). Her look is never over the top or flashy – just always put together and cute. She wears easy tees, and some fun statement pieces. It all comes together for a perfect “girl next door” kind of vibe. Blogger Diary: Can You Hear The Music?
It seems like music has been taking over my life lately, and I’m totally ok with it. Music is pretty much always playing in the back of my mind, a constant presence, maybe just turned down to a quieter volume at times, but lately it is blasting into my ear drums and I can’t seem to satisfy my hunger for more. Paris Fashion Week from Be Frassy
Highlight of PFW so far has got to be the Sonia Rykiel (she is one of my all time favourite designers) . The clothes, the music and Sonia herself sitting front row (she stepped down from the brand, leaving it to her adorable daughter) made the show quite a performance. I’ve been busy shooting street-style for various projects keeping warm in a multitude of layers. Hit my favourite Paris bar, Le Pompom, where the Cobrasnake was going crazy on the DJ Decks. In a total un-fashion week spirit, I’ve been eating alot – using the fact that so many of my friends are in town as an excuse to dine at all my favourite restaurants. Tonight we are heading to the “This is New York” party at Le Regine, I’ll be wearing a lilac wig and some sort of velvet LBD. Read More

Fresh Vegetable, Sage, and Ricotta Flatbread
I’m something of a pizza fanatic. Blame it on my Italian blood. Pizza is a simple idea, with many variations. I love pizza with adventurous combo’s and gourmet touches. A while back on one of my pizza tastings, I tore a bite out of a slice that had been delicately herbed with sage. Miraculous! I instantly stored the idea in the back of my brain to pull out in the kitchen later on. Read More
Rico Blanco
I adore these paintings by Rico Blanco… I almost feel like I’m looking at the subjects through a smudged windowpane, with various shades of light reflecting off of it. Read More
Paris Fashion Week from Be Frassy
Day 2 of Paris Fashion Week: started off feeling a little lethargic after a midnight escape to the Gareth Pugh afterparty on Wednesday. Hung out in the sporadic sunshine all day, wrapped up warm in layers of black leather. Read More
