I just recently discovered Earth Quarterly and felt that today being Earth Day, now would be a good time to share it with you! I love their mission: We are on the cusp of a cultural awakening and Earth Quarterly intends to document it. Earth aims to connect with this generation’s cultural leaders – it’s free-thinkers, artists, back-to-the-landers, activists, mystics, poets – and to hear their stories. Through a series of interviews, artist features, and first hand accounts, we hope to document this awakening as its happening. To shed light on the people doing the good work out there & to spread those stories to others. Earth also publishes articles on the subjects of nature, magic, space, and mysteries of the universe. In the end, the hope is to create a publication that will benefit the planet in some way, and to make a contribution to the movement.
This issue features some of my favorite artists – it’s so beautiful, and it’s free!

beautiful inspiration for earth day. thank you for sharing.
Lovely photos!
Love, love your blog! I’m following you on mine. And my Tumblr, too :)
That artwork and photography is absolutely phenomenal. It all seems so beautiful, but with the slightest eerie. I think it’s the surreal nature; the deer & human, the perfect circle around the girl’s body, etc, etc.
I love the idea that it communicates important issues on a practical level while adding a touch of mysticism and fantasy. What a wonderful way to employ the imagination for a better cause.
Thank you for this!
