Retro Inspired Tents by Cath Kidston!

We are completely smitten with these retro inspired tents by Cath Kidston! Kidston opened her first shop in London in 1993, where she sold vintage fabrics, wallpapers and brightly painted junk furniture inspired by childhood nostalgia. She gradually began to design her own prints – eye-catching and quirky yet practical, always with a nod towards her vintage aesthetic. Her prints look like something you’ve seen before, like a memory of childhood bed sheets or a linoleum table in your grandparents’ kitchen, but they are fresh and unique, making a bold statement in your home or – as is the case with these awesome tents – camping!

While on the subject of camping, I’m a bit of a veteran when it comes to festivals – so I figured I’d put together a little festival survival kit for those of you who are planning on camping at a festival this season!

1. Retro-Inspired Tent – also, not pictured, but its always good to have a rain tarp and a shade tent!
2. Sunblock is crucial for music festivals – there’s nothing worse than getting a horrible burn on the first day and being uncomfortable all weekend! Don’t forget to put sunblock on your lips, too! Pictured are Badger Organic Sun Block Products
3. Re-usable aluminum watter bottles by Sigg – so you’re not paying an arm and a leg for plastic bottled water, and helping the environment :)
4. Herbal Insect Repellant by Burt’s Bees
5. LED flashlight for when you need to find something (or a port-o-potty) in the dark!
6. Look cute and stay dry in the Free People printed lace raincoat
7. It’s always good to have some food with you so you’re not buying all your meals at a festival (which can get pretty pricey). I always like to have things like granola and peanut butter and jelly!
8. Sleeping bags, obviously :)
9. Sunglasses
10. A comfy pair of boots will always come in handy – I love these briar ankle boots.

Happy Camping!
