This week’s Style File is such an easy beauty. She looks just as good in a pixie dress as she does in a tough graphic tee. Always, a touch of fun jewelry is added into the mix, and perfect accessories like a vintage Chanel bag (which she collects) or ditzy print socks make the finishing touches. I also love her tattoos. One she just got is the state of Texas. She just recently moved to Philadelphia for Free People, and wanted to pay homage to her roots. The second tattoo is an ampersand in her favorite typeface. A graphic designer, she is a self-acclaimed font nerd, and wanted this on her body as a symbol of who she is. All in all, she is one beautifully decorated lady! Here is her week in style. :)
I got this vintage Harley tee a few weeks ago at a vintage store in Old City. I collect vintage Chanel bags and this one is my favorite! I got it in Austin.
I loved this dress in the February catalog and had to have it. I got the turquoise cuff for $20 at the Austin City Wide Garage sale. There was a vendor with great deals on estate jewelry. My light pink Trois Petit Points locket was a birthday gift from my boyfriend last year. I wear it almost every day.
This dress is so easy for summer. I love the faux collar!! I wear these combat boots almost every day. I bought them when I lived in New York. I got my Texas tattoo right before moving to Philly, as a tribute to my home state! (Try our Mesh Dot Ankle Sock and Studded Ryder Boot for a similar look above!)
This is probably my favorite dress of all time. I’m truly obsessed with florals, especially ditsy prints—they remind me of the nineties! I got the crochet vest for like 50 cents at a garage sale. The boots are from Anthro. I loved the zippers!
