Nail Art: Art Attack

I recently came across this image that Alexa Chung posted on her Twitter account of DIY Nail Art. I’m sure she was trying to make a funny statement or to see if this trend would actually be picked up in the nail art trend world — after all she’s a trend setter — but it kind of worked.

I went back and forth with this art attack look, quick brush strokes across your nail in rainbow colours and it finally grew on me. I like how raw and fun it looks and would look super great against a plain outfit just to add a bit of curiosity.

You may find this look crazy, but if you want to try it for a fun, carefree weekend, we recommend Essie’s great colour combinations!

This looks too messy for me, but I do like the color combination you chose! Essie polishes are the best~

So cute! I like how it looks fun and not like someone is trying too hard. It’s a must for me!

I wish I had picture, but I did this last night with only two colors. My little sisters stole most of my paints when they visited me last, so I did a deep coral and a baby blue…I think its really cool!

I would try it on a white basecoat! I think that would make them look a bit more polished. pun intended ;)
