I know it’s right smack in the middle of summer right now, but our Pre-Fall Preview is getting us all in the mood for autumn-feeling colors, albeit slightly. We’re feeling late summer nights, wrapped in a blanket on the beach with a breeze that’s cool and fresh; hangouts around a campfire in the woods when the sun is low in the sky; and road trips for days with no destination in sight.
Here’s some inspiration for a mid-summer color palette, with hints of fall brought about by two simple elements: mustard yellow and wood.

I’ve been trying so hard to avoid autumn right now, because I tend to crave it too early (it being my absolute favorite season and all) and I want to savor summer as much as possible. This post is definitely not helping! I seriously can’t wait for boots and sweaters and coats, sipping coffee while sheltered from the rain in a music shop.
Haha, sorry Lily!! Autumn is just so awesome, I couldn’t help myself. BUT you can just incorporate it slightly into your life right now… summer still rocks!
I agree with Lily…I’m finding myself wishing my summer away! I tell myself one day at a time, but I can’t help but think of cooler days, falling leaves in vibrant autumn colors, and cozy clothes. This is such a beautiful post and color combination!
