Is there anything more freeing and nostalgic than running through a sprinkler?
Maybe… but it’s up there on the list. Sprinklers bring back so many childhood memories of hazy summer days when, with no pool, we had to make do with a sprinkler in our backyard. We didn’t care – it was the most refreshing feeling in the world, and we would laugh and run through the streams of water over and over again until we cooled down. It’s been years since I’ve run through a sprinkler, but I still get tempted to when I walk by a yard with one. With the weather reaching outrageous heat levels, this weekend cool off and bring back some of those childhood memories by setting up a sprinkler – or, if you don’t have one, break out a hose or some water guns and have a good old water fight!

I did this with my nieces for my 28th birthday :)
Just make sure before you do that the sprinkler isn’t fed through a brown water system… that strange smell does not wash out of backpacks/clothes. I know from experience :(
