Mumford & Sons probably have one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated new albums, and yesterday they gave their fans a taste of what’s to come with the release of the first single, “I Will Wait.” The band doesn’t seem to be straying far from what has made them so successful with their country-tinged, banjo-shredding folk that is impossible not to sing along to. When I saw them earlier this year at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble they played a couple of new tunes that sounded amazing, and “I Will Wait” was not one of them, so the forthcoming album Babel is looking like it will be another good one – the album drops September 24th and you can pre-order the CD and vinyl here.
