Outside Lands is a tricky festival to pack for. I’ve been twice; the first year I went it was freezing, and last year the weather was perfect and warm. It’s important to have a mixture of options for any kind of weather and layering is essential. Another lesson I learned last year is that comfortable shoes are the most important thing you can have at a festival. Here’s what I’m packing for Outside Lands 2012!
For the plane ride, comfy clothes and a cozy layer.
For Friday, I love these new plaid corduroys and teaming them with sneakers, a tee and beanie for a grungy cool look.
Printed Cord Skinny, Tee, Beartooth Valley Necklace, Cheeky Lace Bra, Booty Short, layered Bracelets, Dree Eternal Ring, Star Signet Ring, Cool Cat Sunglasses, Open Knit Striped Beanie, All Star Zip Chucks.
For Saturday, I don’t usually wear girly items but this new dress from our August book is too adorable! I’d toughen it up with some leather converse and a backpack. I’m making sure to pack a pair of tights too in case it’s chilly!
Beartooth Valley Necklace, Printed iPhone Case, Wild Horses Dress, Cool Cat Sunglasses, layered Bracelets, Dree Eternal Ring, Star Signet Ring, Cheeky Lace Bra, Booty Short, Santa Cruz Backpack, All Star Zip Chucks.

For the final day of the festival I’ll keep it casual and easy in the Festy Super Flare and this amazing new floral tapestry jacket from our August catalog. If it gets cooler the first two days I think this jacket would actually work with the dress and the plaid pants! I love mixing prints right now and I think it adds an element of grunge that is always appealing to me.
Check out what bands we’re excited to see at Outside Lands 2012!
