September Moodboard: Chasing The Sun

Post image for September Moodboard: Chasing The Sun

I talk a lot about being a summer person, but I like fall too, and I love the month of September.  This month in Philly we’ve been enjoying the best weather we’ve had all year.  Windows that have been shut almost all summer long to keep out the heat have opened up, and the crisp air wakes me in the morningIt has a freshness to its smell that makes your nose twitch, as it recognizes the familiar scent of fall.  The sun is breathing its last gasps of warmth down on us, urging us to enjoy it while it lasts.  I love September because although the mentality of fall takes over, it is still summer, and this week’s Chasing The Sun trend is reminding me of that fact.  This weekend marks the official start of fall, but for now, soak up the last warm rays of summer and let them wash over your skin, because it could be a while before you feel its heat again.

Nice choice of imagery! It makes me miss summer so much because the weather in Toronto has drastically dropped!

Kudos. I am from Philly and have not been more comfortable these last past weeks over the amazing weather we’ve been having. It’s nice to see fall making a sneak peek to the city.
