Meh. Here’s why: I don’t disagree. I don’t think it’s uninteresting, and it is not unimportant. The presentation of the Language makes it feel non-functional and wistful and …. inspirational in the “gosh darnit people like me” sense of the word. I know that sentiment matters the way a good sponsor can matter to an alcoholic, and when you express the concept in the above fashion it becomes difficult to read it as anything but cute.
