Artwork We Love: Alexander Korzer-Robinson’s Cut Book Constructions

I’m completely blown away by these cut book constructions by artist Alexander Korzer-Robinson, who carefully and strategically cuts vintage books to leave behind only certain images, resulting in these amazing 3D art prints. I can’t even imagine the amount of time and patience that must go into one of these! I would love to try it though.

So cool! Great interpretation of what it’s like to escape in a book!

If you like these you should check out Kranitzky and Overstreet. These two artists (from my school and hometown) have been making killer art for many years that has a similar vibe to it…only with more than just paper. I saw them give a talk and technique demo once…AMAZING!
