Bariloche is a city in the province of Rio Negro, Argentina, and is the enchanting place where our Snow Queen chapter of our November catalog was shot. The name Bariloche means “the people from behind the mountain” and that’s exactly how you feel when you’re there. Among foothills of the Andes overlooking the shores of lake Nahuel Haupi. You feel completely soaked in beautiful, natural surroundings and at one with nature. Bariloche is known for its outdoor activity; skiing, trekking, and mountaineering and while there you can expect to indulge in cuisine that includes wild boar and venison, and also salmon and trout caught in the local Patagonian lake. Traditional tastes of pine mushrooms, fine fruits, and all kinds of berries give unique flavor to Patagonian dishes.
Our catalog team went to Patagonia to capture a magical fairy tale, and Bariloche couldn’t have offered a more perfect surrounding. That’s why it’s this weeks destination spotlight.
What to pack: Stripe Cowl Neck Sweater, Natalie Marled Scarf, Black Hawk Hobo Bag, Vail Shearling Tall Boot, Golden Quills Military Jacket
