Snuggling Up Essentials

This week in Philly the temperature has dropped drastically, and my house as become quite chilly but I refuse to put the heating on just yet. Come five o’clock  when the sun goes down, a cold chill comes running through the house and its time for me to pull out my essential snuggle up items.

(image above) I love wearing warm, cozy socks like our Campfire Slippers in the winter months, and having a hot water bottle by my side for some extra warmth. This is a good combination for watching movies on the couch.

Permafrost Tunic, Mason Jar Lantern

I find that lighting candles around the house gives off a warm feeling and a lovely glow which helps keep me warm. I cover my fireplace with cathedral candles and put on a cozy sweater and I’m happy for the rest of the evening.

Printed Floral Nightie, Cashmere Thermal Nightie, Patterned Hooded Poncho, Heathered Highland Sock

Layering is always key whenever you want extra warmth, I love teaming my nightie with a pair of socks and a long sleeve top and then a soft poncho, so then when you get too hot you can take off a layer at a time.

Those are my essential ways to snuggle up at night when it gets a little chilly in your home.

Why is this blog written in the first person? It’s a brand you are representing, not a personal blog. It’s very strange.

Love these cozy ideas! It’s still 80 degrees in San Diego and I cannot wait for cooler weather!
