New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and to celebrate entering a new year everyone needs a special dress. I asked two British girls and two American girls if they could choose any Free People dress to wear to a New Year’s Eve party, what would it be? I did this mainly to be nosy but also to see if there was a distinctive style difference between the British and the Americans.
Here’s what they would wear:
Jessica, the British girl on the left would wear an all over Shimmy Shimmy Dress toned down with simple black tights and boots. Avalon is American and she liked a more bohemian style and picked our Russian Doll Dress but made it edgy with our Scot Heeled Studded Boot.
Kellyn (left) is American and she thought our Lace Dream Dress, which has applique black lace, had a cool side, so she teamed it with our Legion Lace Military Boot creating a more relaxed New Year’s look.
Zoe is British and she went all sophisticated with our FP X Film Noir Dress but made it her own with two layered necklaces: Horn Pendant Necklace, Ladder Fringe Tassel Necklace, and a brown belt.

Love them all! I do have to say that I, an American girl, have always leaned towards a shiny, sparkling spectacle of a frock for New Years Eve celebrating though.
