When I think of emerald green, the first thing that comes to mind is pure nature. I’m brought back to time spent in Bled, Slovenia, and I’m reminded of the gorgeously rich, natural hues I found myself among. Hues that I never thought possible in nature. I feel a sense of peace, as if I were totally submerged in the vast waters of an ocean, exploring every uncovered bit of nature I come across.
Pantone has just named Emerald Green the Color of the Year for 2013, and upon finding this out, I couldn’t help but to hop on Pinterest and get lost in a sea of all things emerald green. Imagine having an entire room of your house filled with nothing but gorgeous shades emerald green? It might just feel like heaven. I love setting emerald green against neutral colors like bronze and cream which help to bring out the boldness of the green. Here’s some inspiration for an emerald-filled home.
