Saturday DO: Be Less Freaked Out By Wheatgrass


Ok, so this isn’t the most appetizing item to add to your diet, at least from a visual standpoint. Personally, I’ve always been a little freaked out by wheatgrass. I mean, it’s grass, right? It’s what I lay on in sunny weather with a good book and a tall glass of iced tea. It isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when I think of my health. But it totally should be.

Wheatgrass is one of those food fads that long outlived the “fad” stage, and for good reason. The health benefits to incorporating wheatgrass into your diet are endless, and worth summoning some bravery. For me, this is one of those surprisingly delicious things that I get addicted to (I feel the same about green juice of all kinds). Read more about this wonderfood by following this link.   1. It would be great to do a post about making your own wheatgrass or even where to buy it online that is affordable but high quality.

  2. This article reminds me of how my late mom really loved this item-the wheat grass. We never ran out of this in our kitchen. It made our dish really tasty.
