I have come to my last day of this Bikram yoga challenge and I must admit I do not want it to end; having a challenge to document everyday has been somewhat therapeutic for me. Although I will say I am looking forward to drinking coffee this weekend! Read More

Book Club Meeting: The Power Of Now
Chapter two of The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle discusses consciousness and how to use it to eliminate pain in the present. He begins by explaining that the mind is threatened by the present. This is because the mind needs the reference of time in order to function and be in control – it thinks of things in terms of the past and future. Read More
Decor Inspiration: Our New Spring Store Displays
It has been frigid in Philadelphia this week…temperatures are the lowest they’ve been in a couple of years, and it’s a harsh reminder that spring is not coming just yet. Read More
Acupuncture Diary, Week 4: One Whole Month!
It’s been one month since I started doing acupuncture. That’s four weeks, 8 sessions, and about 200 tiny needles in my body. Have I noticed a difference in the way I feel? Yup. Read More

Office Style: Our Favorite 5 Looks To Date
Every now and again we bring together our 5 favorite looks from our office style to re-live the great style we captured. It’s pretty hard just picking 5 but here are our favorites. My Bikram Journal Day 4
I woke this morning feeling emotional, I wasn’t sad or upset, I just felt like I was in a quite calm place and it was making me feel odd having suffered for many years with a racing mind. This feeling felt quite strange to me. During my work day I felt my eyes fill up on more than one occasion for no reason at all. I mentioned my emotion to someone here at our office who practices yoga regularly and she told me if I was doing a lot of back bending and poses using my hips it would bring out a lot of emotion and then it all made sense. Poll: Into The Great Wide Open
Our Into The Great Wide Open look book reminds us of a western cool vibe. We’ve added touches of bohemia and lace to create looks that are modern, fresh, and have that prairie dreamy vibe. These are perfect transitional looks that we feel would look quite comfortable at music festivals starting this spring.
DIY: A Sweet Origami Heart
Valentine’s Day is approaching, and with that in mind hearts are on the forefront. I love origami “paper folding” and have always been fascinated with the Japanese art. There’s something about seeing a flat piece of paper come to life into a 3-D art form that I find so beautiful, and this is merely done by paper folding! Read More
White Maxi Dresses And How We Wear Them
Normally my style is a bit too boyish for white maxi dresses, but we have so many good ones right now, they’ve completely won me over! Read More
My Bikram Journal, Day Three
I had the most peaceful sleep last night. I felt rested and relaxed and woke well before my alarm clock. My body was aching in places I never knew could ache and I did not wake with a headache this time. I was however feeling a little groggy from lack of caffeine, it’s the 3rd day with no coffee and I’m starting to crave it. I walked past the coffee shop on my way to work and the smell almost enticed me in… but then I remembered “The Driver and The Chariot” I didn’t give in. Read More
Behind The Scenes Of Our Vintage Loves Lookbook
The team behind our Vintage Loves line is so inspiring. Every month our vintage buyer puts together amazing collections of hand-picked vintage pieces around a certain theme. For the launch of each collection, she and our creative director and vintage photographer scout out locations to shoot the pieces – either as a vignette or, as we’ve been doing more of lately, a lookbook.
