DIY: A Creative Idea For Gift Wrapping

Post image for DIY: A Creative Idea For Gift Wrapping

These last couple of months have involved a lot of birthdays and gift-giving. Whenever I give gifts I always like to try and get creative with the packaging to make the whole experience that much more extra special. I try and find old papers from around my home that I can recycle and objects that can add a little bit of prettiness. For the birthdays that have just gone by I used my 2012 calendar by The Wild Unknown to create unique packaging and then on top, placed a stem of fake flowers and a feather. When I gave the person the gift a huge smile came across their face, so the extra bit of effort went a long way.

So, get creative with gift wrapping, use an old calendar or magazine and found objects – it’s fun and inspiring!

Fantastic gift wrapping idea. I wish I put more thought into wrapping gifts, rather than getting some old Christmas paper or Batman leftovers from the local convenience store. My wife’s birthday is coming up and I’m sure she’ll be surprised when I wrap her gift (I doubt I’ll get credit anyways!).
