Last Thursday, Free People had a very special office visitor: professional surfer Sage Erickson! Sage stopped by for a few hours en route to New York to check out the office and try on some FP product. I was excited to meet Sage since I grew up in a family of surfers and was curious as to whether we have traveled to some of the same surf spots over the years. As soon as I was introduced to her, I was taken back by her natural beauty and charismatic personality. Dressed in a reworked vintage dress she designed herself, with her hair pulled back in a low bun, she has a personal style that is elegantly effortless and carries herself with a cool confidence. She is so full of life and one of the most down to earth girls I have ever met.
After showing her around the office, Sage got to style a few outfits and we headed out around the Navy Yard to take some pictures. I had a lot of fun taking these pictures — Sage is a natural in front of the camera! We talked about boys and surf life in between shots and realized we have a lot in common. It was great getting to know a little bit more about this talented surfer.
