This is the final post in our summer CSA recipe series from Kelsi Windmiller!
For this week’s recipe post I would like to share some ideas for juices using your summer CSA ingredients. A juice can be a great way to enjoy all of the fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs throughout the week. For this particular juice I used rainbow chard, kale, parsley, and grapefruit. Take a look at the ingredient list for inspiration and get creative! There are many amazing combinations to be made. If you are new to juicing, add more fruit to your mix for extra sweetness. If you are a seasoned juicer try skipping the fruit altogether and adding a little lemon instead. Have fun and enjoy!
What’s your favorite juice combination?
Greens
Kale
Romaine
Chard
Dandelion Greens
Radish Tops
Spinach
Mustard Greens
Watercress
Cabbage
Extra
Parsley
Mint
Cilantro
Fennel
Ginger
Lemon
Tarragon
Celery
Sweets
Apple
Orange
Peach
Grapefruit
Pear
Beet
Grape
Plum
If you had to choose one item from each list for your juice what would your ideal combination be? I would pick kale, lemon and grapefruit :).
