June 21–July 22
If you’ve ever taken a driver’s-ed class, you may remember being instructed to “aim high in steering.” When aspirational Jupiter in Cancer meshes with ambitious Saturn in your fulfillment sector and limitless Neptune in your future zone this week, that’s exactly what you should do. Look far down the road and take in the big picture. Jupiter and Saturn will meet a couple more times while Jupiter is in your sign, but this is Jupiter’s only such meeting with Neptune. Since Jupiter rules faith and Neptune rules dreams, don’t miss this opportunity to get inspired. Saturn introduces the component of hard work to the mix, and when Mars in Cancer steps in later in the week to take Jupiter’s place in the threesome, he advocates action. So Jupiter is telling you to have faith in yourself, Saturn’s advising you to try as hard as you can to fulfill your potential, Neptune wants you to imagine your future, and Mars is pushing you to do something about all of the above. Meanwhile, mental Mercury goes direct in Cancer, facilitating constructive thinking and conversations.
July 23–August 22
Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune form something called a Grand Trine this week, a very positive triangular configuration of planets that indicates ease. But we tend to notice friction more than flow, and these three planets are traveling through the most private houses in your chart, so you’ll need to really tune in to reap the benefits. Jupiter is expanding your spiritual life, your creativity and your inner faith. Saturn is requesting that you grow up a bit, provide a stronger foundation for yourself and take your security and your emotions seriously. Neptune is coaxing you to let go and trust, allowing yourself to become more intimate with someone or with the parts of yourself that you’ve kept hidden. Action-oriented Mars slips into Jupiter’s place in the triangle later in the week, inciting you to quietly strategize ways to grow your life from the inside out. And Mercury turns direct in your intuition angle, which should help you to translate a cascade of personal feelings into fruitful thoughts.
August 23–September 22
Realistic Saturn in your mentality zone and longing Neptune in your relationship angle first connected with each other last October, then again last month, and now they’re clicking for the last time before going their separate ways. During this period, your practical, mature thinking has complemented a romantic or creative partnership, the desire to offer something artistic or spiritual to others, your idealization of others or the urge to take care of someone. Early in the week, Jupiter forms a beneficial triangle with Saturn and Neptune, and days later, Mars does the same. Jupiter and Mars are in your objectives-and-groups sector, instilling faith in teamwork and motivating you to reach out to others and get new things going in your life. All of these planets are coalescing in the cerebral-and-social houses of your chart, underlining the importance of positive, productive mindfulness and communication. With your ruler—mental Mercury—going direct now, those things should come more easily.
September 23–October 22
With high-hopes Jupiter at the top of your chart, you’re poised to reach for the stars, and when Jupiter creates a consolidating triangle of energy with Saturn and Neptune this week, your belief in what you want to achieve should surge. Taking your innate gifts seriously and answering the call to serve a higher purpose will set you up to do great things. As fiery Mars takes Jupiter’s place in the triangle later in the week, do becomes a keyword. Jupiter is helping you to think big, Saturn is pushing you to plan and to work hard and Neptune is encouraging you to relinquish the ego’s stranglehold on self-improvement goals and embark on a more useful—possibly more spiritual—path. Your efforts to build up your resources and your security dovetail with succumbing to this more meaningful path, and you may just be starting to see the connection. With intelligent Mercury turning direct in your ambition angle, the fog in your professional life should dissipate. Take a cue from Mercury and Mars: Think things through, and make a smart move.
October 23–November 21
Saturn in Scorpio has his last meeting with Neptune this week, reminding you of the link between 1. the grounded practical process of carving out a definitive, mature identity for yourself and 2. the more intangible pull toward an ideal of self-expression and personal fulfillment. The former is about responsibility, ambition and strength while the latter is part romantic, part spiritual and part creative. Jupiter and Mars form triangles with Saturn and Neptune this week, making two Grand Water Trines—so called because the planets are occupying all three water signs. This creates a closed-circuit system of flowing energy that you can tap into. Jupiter is inspiring you to expand your perspective and seek not only knowledge, but wisdom. Mars wants you to courageously push past old limits and consciously make meaning in your life. Both are in your beliefs sector, urging you to actively live your truth. With Mercury turning direct in the same part of your chart, conceptualizing that truth gets easier. This is the only such meeting of Jupiter and Neptune, so if you can access the stream of faith, confidence, spirit and divine joy that they’re generating now, this exquisite combination of tranquility and exhilaration will feed your soul when you summon it up.
November 22–December 21
Jupiter in your sharing sector is building your faith in partnership and in your own psychological substance as well. Saturn in your solitude house is compelling you to undergo a maturation or coming-to-terms process. And Neptune in your roots angle is enticing you to release the past and/or to create a more ideal home life. These three planets connect this week in what is known as a Grand Trine, and since your ruler Jupiter is involved, this event is particularly noteworthy for you. But the activity is taking place in the most personal areas of your chart, so you need to pay attention to your feelings in order to grasp what’s happening. It may manifest simply as a sense of everything coming together for you emotionally. Make the extra effort to digest this sensation, because you can then attempt to draw from it in the future. As chatty Mercury turns direct and Mars forms its own positive-energy triangle with Neptune and Saturn, being around someone you feel close to and confiding in him or her will help you to maximize the potency of the week.
December 22–January 19
Your ruling planet Saturn will connect with Neptune this week for the third and last time while they are in your network and communication houses. That alone would make this a significant week for you, but in addition, Jupiter and Mars each form a triangle with Saturn and Neptune, creating two separate Grand Trines, systems of energy that can generate a positive flow when you align with them. These configurations are occurring in the houses of your chart that are associated with communication and relationship, suggesting this: Having faith in other people as your equals, putting effort into friendships and teambuilding and thinking in creative, intuitive, spiritual ways will help you to access that feeling of flow. You should be able to see by now how the dreams in your head must be constructed externally with the help of others—and for that to happen, you have to invest in your relationships. Mercury’s direct turn in your partnership angle will enable you to connect more easily, so definitely reach out.
January 20–February 18
Your ruler, erratic Uranus, is turning retrograde in your mindset zone until December, which should make you feel less wound up and give you a chance to regroup in your head. Even bigger news this week: optimistic Jupiter and motivated Mars each form a triangle of positive energy with serious Saturn in your ambition angle and metaphysical Neptune in your values sector. Saturn has you striving to make your mark on the world or at least get further in your career, but Neptune wants you to also consider the creative and spiritual resources you’ve got going for you and to take a less materialistic approach to the concept of worth. Jupiter is currently traveling through your self-improvement house, encouraging you to learn new skills, work hard, get in plenty of physical activity, be useful and change your habits and daily routine for the better. Mars is in that same house, nudging you to take targeted action to manifest what you’re dreaming of and working toward. And fortunately, Mercury’s direct turn in this part of your chart will facilitate pragmatic thinking to that end.
February 19–March 20
Your increasing faith in being happy and fulfilled, your determination to build a bigger, bolder future and your longing to become the person you were meant to be all coalesce this week when Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune create a triangle of flowing energy. And when Mars slides into Jupiter’s place later in the week, it’s a call to action. You need to combine realistic planning, creative imagining and confident self-expression with strategic action to ensure long-term success. With mental Mercury going direct later in the week, it shouldn’t be such an uphill battle to think things through and communicate with people. Since this is practical Saturn’s last positive contact with Neptune in Pisces while he’s in your education sector, give strong consideration to the learning piece of the puzzle. What knowledge must you acquire in order to actualize your dreams, and what is your game plan for getting it? Research? Grad school? An apprenticeship? A class? A reading list? It’s time to push yourself, to stretch the boundaries of what you can do and who can be. Do your best to remember the feeling of this week and revisit it in the future to get reinspired.
March 21–April 19
With revolution-starter Uranus turning retrograde in your action-oriented sign, the pace of change in your life should let up somewhat, giving you a chance to check in with yourself. Broad-minded Jupiter and your ruler Mars are traveling through your roots angle, and both planets connect with Saturn in your psyche zone and Neptune in your spirit sector this week, tying your inner world together. A better understanding of your personal history and of your core emotional requirements will help you to release what needs releasing and build what needs building. Neptune wants you to let go, while Saturn wants you to persevere. Jupiter’s dialogue with these two planets will hopefully shed light on the appropriate applications of their principles. And Mars provides you with the strength you need to break free from the past and give form to the future. Mercury’s direct turn at the bottom of your chart will slowly bring further clarity to your feelings—a welcome relief.
April 20–May 20
Optimistic Jupiter in your mindset zone syncs with responsible Saturn in your relationship angle and unifying Neptune in your group sector this week, doing its best to boost your faith in connectedness. With a generous spirit, respect for your peers, a willingness to work on partnership and a readiness to let go and allow yourself to feel like part of a community, you’ll be a happier camper. Mars comes along later in the week and steps in for Jupiter, forming another triangle with Saturn and Neptune and driving home the idea that you can take action to get more of a flow going in your relationships. You’re capable of having a positive impact on your social environment now, and Mars is gifting you with a can-do attitude that should propel you to reach out. Mercury does its part, too, by turning direct in your communication house, making it easier to bond with people through sincere, honest dialogue.
May 21–June 20
Jupiter, planet of hope, is in your worth sector; Saturn, planet of discipline, is in your work zone; and Neptune, planet of imagination, is in your ambition angle. The three form a highly harmonious triangle this week, establishing a flow of energy between your finances, your job and your goals. Positive thinking about what you have to contribute to the world combines with a longing to serve an ultimate purpose and a determination to apply yourself diligently to the task at hand. Working to improve your skills and using your imagination to conceive limitless ways that you can make your mark will feed your faith that you can not only be of use, but also provide for yourself. After Jupiter leaves the planetary triangle, Mars moves in to take its place, beginning his own conversation with Neptune and Saturn—and this one’s all about action. Doer Mars is challenging you to make your dreams a reality, and thankfully, your ruler Mercury’s direct turn makes it much easier for you to think through action steps now.
